Default 1972 911 door handle lever replacement

anyone have a clue as to where to get this part....they do have a common failure on the lever. thanks in adavance -Mark

Ouch! It's probably been 25 years since I've seen the problem, but I seem to remember that the pot metal lever, or a piece of it. breaks off and you need a replacement handle assembly that you can transfer your lock/tumbler assembly over to.

+1 on the replacement handle. That pot metal can't be fixed. See if someone has a used one and change the lock out. I suggest a picture of your old one so whoever might have one can view it and make sure.

I don't know about '72, but the later handles can be bought at 911doorhandles.com or something like that. It's an improved billet part.

okay are we talking about the outside of the door lever , or the inside of the door lever .. may help to clarify that first ..

Ah, yes that's it. Before you order, be SURE to take the old one out and have a look, since there are two styles of exterior door handle triggers. They are not all the same.
