Wow! I didn't see the photos earlier since my work filters file storage sites. Those look pretty sweet. I do want the old school look of traditional lights on the targa, maybe on the next car though!

I've never felt unsafe in my 911 with H1's.

It also doesn't get a lot of nighttime driving.

While PROPER implementation of HID lighting (not just throwing HID bulbs in a regular light assembly) gives you great lighting with a not so huge draw on the electrical system, you can wire the H1s to run both high and low beam bulbs at the same time. If you use 100 watt bulbs, that's a whole lot of light shooting down the highway. Sometimes quantity does trump quality. And it's not like the illumination of regular power bulb equipped H1s would, in any contest, not be deemed quality light.

Proper..??

"...Not just throwing...??.."

Most HID Hi/Lo bulbs put the arc in exactly the correct position in both high beam and low beam mode. Those work just fine in any "regular" (halogen) light assembly.
