Seeking local resources while daughter drives from Boston to Miami this week
Hi Guys,
Are any of you willing to, in the event of an auto emergency, be a resource who can direct my daughter to the right local service providers?
She'll be driving with her Grandfather from Boston to Miami, starting on Wed. morning, to take a new job there. Sadly, I cannot join her on the drive due to work.
Although her 2006 325xi is in great condition, I'd feel a whole lot better if I knew that there were some savvy local car resources she could turn to along the way.
(Yah, I know its not a P-car, but she does like my 964 and I bought the car for her as a "you got straight A's graduation present".)
I'm guessing that, leaving Wed AM, they'll be in Miami easily by Friday morning, so its not a long window.

Having driven that route many times and DC to FL even more, they will be on 95 90 percent of the time so they should be fine as almost always close to populated and safe areas.
If need be I can recommend shops in DC area and through out most of north and central FL areas.

will she be nearing hawaii at all in her drive? I would love to help but my geography skills aren't the best, so I'm not really sure what interstates run through hawaii.
