Some other easy ideas.. How about removing fog lights? bumper shocks (or large bumper pads as well)? Lighter 15" wheels? Could ditch the spoilers if you have them too.

Got it. Thought it was a local car. Mine resided in Phx, Az and LA for it's whole life and the lack of any rust is a great deal for a change.
Lucky it is a latter car, if a pre galvanized car was in the rust belt you'd have a ton of issues.
A MD owned the car for 25 years and moved from Phx to LA to practice. He was meticulous about maint. etc bless him. The records I got had the shop owners number so I called him and we chatted for awhile, he maintained the car for 20 years for the good PO Doc. Nice to have the history.

what about removal of the side skirts (not sure what they are called on a 911)? they seem pretty heavy and I like the look of the cars with them removed.

Like this.. (brothers car)

They are called "rockers" and they are next.

The bar that hangs down below the front valance needs to go too. With no A/C, it needn't be there.

Central locking is also on my hit list.

Did you change out the mirrors, those suckers weigh about 8 lbs together. I slapped some Vitaloni's on, weigh next to nothing (can see fine).

I've seen that thread, but in a cab, I think I'm stuck with my flags. Already lean forward and peek before changing lanes as it is.

Gonna go attack the left rocker right now.

Gonna have to think about this. If it was going to paint sometime soon I would cut off the bolt tabs, fill the screw holes and fab up a proper T-bar port. As it is the T-bar port is, let's say, interesting. Gotta hit the google.

this is my weight watchers 930...weighing in right at 2300 pounds without being too extreme. i did remove the side rocker covers or whatever they are called. ducktail and modified ls7 helped to reduce rear weight by almost 100 pounds over turbo motor and turbo tail. of course lexan, aluminum hood, ruf front and rear spoilers/bumpers, no insulation, lightweight interior, no radio, no a/c, no heater blower, small mirrors, etc...it all adds up!

That is one sexy beast!!!

Love the look. I've only ever seen one factory car with the 930S rear brake ducts without the flachbau front end. Absolutely the way it should be.

That 930 looks just right, must have a nice kick with that power/weight ratio.
Amber, what do the rockers with rubber strip weigh in at each?
