You need to put the end of the youtube address like this: [y t]PwNiiEnAKF4[/y t]

Without the spaces.

This is massive engine noise coming from the radio. Likely a bad ground in the system.

Do you have a separate power amp in the system? If so, then this raises a different set of questions.

If not, then I suggest you swap the speaker wiring behind the radio. Move the Left-rear to the Right-rear and vise-versa. If the noise changes locations, then you have a radio issue.

Give us a run-down of the system. Do you have:
- Antenna booster?
- Power Amp?
- Any other strange behaviors like the radio shutting off when the car revs up?

Probably a cold solder joint in the signal path somewhere.

I recommend learn to drive it properly at a track day, its a tricky car to drive.

Sent you a PM. Nice car

Oh, and watch the movie Mystic Pizza.

Take care,

I would love to track the car, however there are many reasons not to, such as cost and risk of damage. With that said, I am trying to do an auto cross at Road America. Even though I don't have the tires for it and I will have the worst time, it will still be very fun.

Default Hello Again

Recently I have seen a lot of Porsche action now that it is warm, the car is registered, and it runs wonderfully. Last Friday I changed the original transmission fluid and I'm glad I did because it had the consistency of gravy. I did not, however, help the 1st gear hard-to-findness. It must be the bushing. I don't know if I care enough to do anything about it though. The day after, I made the 3 hour drive to Road America for an autocross event. I thought I would come in last and that is exactly what happened. I had so much fun, even with some embarrassing moments. Racing was hard on the car though. I was apologizing in my head to the car afterward. And it got extremely dirty. The engine noise in the radio is gone too. I can also confirm it has a rev limiter . Today I took off the A/C compressor.

Here is an edit I made:

The little track

The entire group

One of the many subaru's took a shot at the not so many but still numerous evos with a common car themed plate

The saturn left me awestruck

This is incredibly fast

And this sounds nice on the upshift

Default Spring Break

Over spring break I was in Florida and found out and visited the Revs Institute. Apparently they have one of the largest collections of Porsches ever. There weren't many on display, so I'll assume they are in the garage. The also had other fancy, old, and racing cars. Here are some pics:

I would also like to share my experience driving different 911s. The GT3RS was incedible. So much torque and I couldn't even rev it all the way out on surface streets. The noise, brakes, and handling were fantastic. A perfect car. On the other side, we have my great aunt's replacement to my mom's (this) car. It is more subdued but much more manageable and 110 without a roof is a blast, even with a Tiptronic. Perfect for her.

This has been a great read. Keep it up and share the journey. Your parents must be proud, we sure are.

I hope to read stuff like this from my son...

Unfortunately I am diagnosing a DNS right now. When I when to start it, the engine turned over but then it just cut out. The car had no power afterward. No door lights at all. I can tell you the battery is good and so is the starter. So then I checked the battery cables and the positive was kind of loose so I took it off and retightened it. Light are now back on. I tied to start it again and the same thing happened. Lights are off and the car does not have any power again. The cables are still tight. I think it is the key cylinder. How about you guys?
