This 350 foot/lb of torque is no joke... broke 1/2 drive T-bar and had to take a trip to HF and get the 3/4" drive version.

yep, time for a rebuild...

here is a measurement when the Targa is on 4 wheels down…

As targa owners know, when the rear end is lifted from the rear lifting point (front on the rear wheel well), the rear end droops a little… you can tell by the gap of the door and body. Notice the measurement difference when the rear end is up...

Dropped the car back down and installed the brace… and tightened it up by shortening the brace.

lifted the rear end again and took another measurement… So it works, not perfect but it is a little stiffer.

brought the car back down and took another measurement..

I guess in time it will loosen and of course you have to tighten it... Im gonna keep an eye on this mod to see if a like it... Take it for what it is…
Where did you get these? Also, where did you get the exhaust baffles? Can you post links?

you may have to catch the brace when it comes available on Pelican, I dont think the guys over are making them anymore... try this. PM nineball: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...dy-braces.html

as for the baffles, talk to Brian Bodart, Email brian@rarlyl8.com... he might be able to size one up for your needs. Phone (256)536-9977 http://rarlyl8.com/mufflers-930.html

So I wanted to lower the Targa a bit, but got frustrated with the OEM spring plate lowering bolt... and got the ER spring plate. So much easier for height adjustment.

Just get the weight off the spring plate, turn the allen bolt and tighten the main bolt.

Used the ghetto wheel alignment method for a quick look.

I may lower it a bit more, but Im happy with how it sits for now... Its so much easier to dial in the height now.

Installed the Karsten spring in the shifter to get rid of the bulky seine shifter spring so I can install a rubber boot.

The seine shifter spring sticks out on the right side of the shifter, you need to cut the rubber boot in order to fit it over the shifter.

Rubber boot in place.

wanted a clean look at the front seating area, modified a front mount fire extinguisher to a rear mount. Plenty of room even with the sub-woofer underneath, yet still easy access to the extinguisher with one hand from the driver seat.

Installed one of these Rothsport one way valve... seems to be fine as far as flow is concerned. I know its a controversial mod, but my car sits for the winter. Let the discussion begin!
