Shoot Doug, that's a crazy day. I went to Secret Car Club cars & coffee, then down to the club to wash the boat and fire up the motor, then back home to play with the sprinklers, then took my wife out for Bday dinner. About 120 miles in the middle in the 993 today, while doing it. With my Rennsport chip and a tank of mixed 100/91 octane.

I swear Doug, NOTHING has been harder to kick than my pawnshop habit. Dumping Norco was a snap, Dr Pepper was an easy drop. Been almost two month now without buying anything. Look what I have to show for it.

I know what you mean, but it is very hard to pass up next to new Snap On Dual 80 ratchets for less (sometimes way less) than 50 cents on the dollar. Especially if it is a size I don't have.

That's exactly how I ended up with 1/4" drive, deep, impact grade, six point, metric. Seriously??? I needed that??? At $40, ya, I needed that.

Not to be outdone by the half dozen other build threads at the top of the board, I went in and picked up a few more items today.

This time I picked up front end components:

Hubs, rotors, calipers, backer plates, struts, toe plates, tie rods, rack and pinion, and a few odds and ends.

I saw things that can't be unseen. Two sets of original 930 calipers. No cash for that now, though.

Have not gotten much done, but I do believe I'm getting close to having enough done to spend a day assembling both front and rear suspension.

Then there's that pesky drivetrain. And decent wheels. Etc.

Today's box of goodies. I think I've got everything needed to put the front end on.

We could always meet up at Grapevine again.

Next time Ken, use two pallets.
