You betcha!

When I got divorced, I got my books, my 650 Triumph and a POS English Ford. She got the rest. Deal of the century IMO.

p.s. - Prenups are cheap.

There was a guy locally that lost his 911 in a divorce who ultimately got the last laugh. He stripped it clean down to the shell and let her have it. His excuse was that he was in the middle of a complete glass out restoration. He then sold off all the parts on craigslist for beer money once the divorce was final.

There was a nice Alfa Romeo early 60's sports car for sale on ebay awhile ago. Had been totally restored but needed some 'bodywork'.
You could tell someone took a hammer to it and it was obvious from the posting why.

^^^ We had a guy in Off Topic that beat his 997 with a baseball bat because Jesus told him to. We went to calling him Jesus Mike for obvious reasons. He sent my wife a $600 Kitchenaide mixer that showed up on Valentine's Day two years ago. Needless to say he was banned shortly after the incident.

Doug, I remember that!

Ice, sorry to hear about the big D. But 170# is a lot of weight savings.

As for my negative comments, they are what they are. I'm just saying what I think and I won't apologize for that. If you don't like my comments, then don't read them. I didn't even get started on all the ridiculous stickers, non-functional louvers, and sensless bling that makes his cars look like the hippie kid's bike that was never locked up back in elementary school.

Porsche did a lot of experimenting and testing to come up with the vent size and location on the rear decklid. If the car needed silly little louvers, they'd have put them in.

Was the weight loss a recent development?
