Default Singer Vehicle Design "Indiana"

A couple people commented that they would like to see my Singer Vehicle Design "re-imagined" 911 when it was complete so I thought I would share some build and complete pictures.

Overall I am very pleased with the build! The body panels are 100% carbon fiber with the exception of the doors. Weight is 2640 lbs. Rob and his team stayed in constant contact, delivering the machine on time and on budget. July issue of R&T did the Singer some serious justice!

Deposit was sent 12/13, work started 7/14, car was delivered last week.

The car is a 1991 964/911 with the following Singer options:
- Blue Blood (exterior), Cognac (Interior)
- 4.0L EPRE (400HP)
- 6 speed G50
- External filler (oil and fuel)
- Brass seat grommets
- Ipod connectivity
- Custom painted calipers
- Letters and Stripes

The following are "base" or standard:
- KW coil overs
- Brembo brakes (stock size)
- Carpeted interior
- Stereo
- Seats
- Leather weave dash panel and doors
- Wheels (brushed nickel finish)

Here are the pictures in order of build.

Very nice. I wonder if we will see any Singers at Pararde this year in French Lick, IN?

Nice pictures and your garage isn't bad either. How the hell do you choose...
One question, other than aesthetics, what is the reason why the fuel cap is centred on the bonnet.

Funny you ask, I nominated the car for the French Lick Concours in October, we will see if it is accepted.

Aesthetics only. It is an option in the build process.

How do you fuel the car and protect the paint from drips and the hose hitting the body? Opening the hood and holding the hose away??

I get a paper towel from the dispenser and keep it around the tip of the nozzle until I insert it into the neck, then I use the same towel to catch any drips when I remove the nozzle. As for the hose, I put it over my shoulder.

Matteuson, Well done! Enjoy the R&T article ...

Flat Sex: Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer‏

$390,000 for an ordinary 911 is absurd.
But this is no ordinary 911. It is a jewel box of history and myth, a sort of greatest-hits Porsche patterned after the car that everyone thinks they remember...

Congratulations and thank-you for sharing the process pictures! I finally saw "Toronto" in person last week, and pictures don't do these creations justice. Simply incredible, the finest details are meticulously created.

Beautiful, love the colour combo!
