My old car.......is it still alive?
Hi guys. I had a 1967 911 with a 2.7L in it. I sold the car in May 2006 to a gentlemen on the East coast by the name of T. Dance. I think of that car now and then and am wondering if it is still around. The color was a dark blue with Porsche script. Would love to know what happened to her.

What a beautiful car. Ever think of buying it back again?

Don't want it back but sure do miss it (just like the '86 Carerra) just curious if it went through a restoration and what it looks like today. When I was selling I had advertised in the Pano and could not give it away. I had just gotten the carbs rebuilt when it sold. What do you guys think it would go for now?

I don't know whether the moderators would go for it, but I think it would be fun to open a panel for just this subject. I'd really like to know what became of several of my old P-cars. I know all the serial numbers, and there wasn't a dog among them. For example, my first was Charlie Earwood's '58 Speedster, chassis No. 84190, with a great Harro Zitza motor. (I actually owned it twice.) Or my favorite, an '88 911 Club Sport, chassis No. WPOAB 0919JS12576.

If I had been you I would have never sold this beauty, what a waste. I guess you had your reasons for selling it and I am not judging you in any way. I doubt that such a car is gonna be taken to a scrap yard like https://www.scrapi.com/scrap-my-car-edinburgh. I suppose you had financial problems and it was a completely correct decision. I am glad that you are capable and willing to buy it back now. You must be ready to extra though as these cars are like good wine they get better and more expensive over time.

Lol...not sure about the "what a waste" comment unless it was melted down and turned into air fryers or something. I'm sure the new owner is enjoying the car, or made a hefty profit on the deal.
The tales of missed opportunities and mistaken sales grow as one gets older for sure.
Amazon stock, that beach house in 1985, any air cooled car I've ever owned, that missed shot at a threesome, etc!
