Sevice in my area and Selling a 930 Targa
I'm considering selling my '87 930 Targa but either way, I need to get it serviced and the owner of the shop who I've always brought it to has retired and closed his doors.
I was wondering if anyone can recommend an exceptional place to have it service in the South Bay Area (Northern California)?
If I do decide to sell it, I'd also like to get some of the Rennlist members opinions on the best avenues for selling? I've been "on the fence" about selling it as I've had this almost 35 years (original owner), but I just watched one last week almost identical to mine sell on Bring a Trailer for significantly more than I expected and that got me thinking.
I've heard some car collectors say B.A.T. is one of the best way to sell a rare car, but I'm not completely comfortable to not have any potential buyers see it in person and possibly drive it first, so I was wondering what my best options are in regards to listing it for sale?
I'd appreciate the advice.
Thanks,
Gordon
