Been posting several pictures on Rennlist for the 928 and 911 guys and thought I'd include a few here in the 930 area of some shots I took at the factory in late 1977.

The 930 and 911 engines were being assembled alongside the 928 engines at Zuffenhausen.

Unfortunately, when I took that tour in October1977 the 911 line was closed to the public (retooling for the 911SC) and most of my shots are of the 928 production line. (seen here

Three more pictures from 3 March 1977, inside Werk I. A few 935s were undergoing various stages of preparation.

Anyone interested in some 959 pictures from 1985 as well?

These pics are invaluable! Thanks so much for sharing them. Looking at them reminds me so much of the 911 catalogs I used to look at over and over when I was kid in high school dreaming of owning one some day. Thanks again.....

I've been lucky to get to go to Zuffenhausen quite a bit since my first visit in 1976. (Work used to drag me to Germany a lot). I'll try to get the 959 images up in a few days.
