Default WTB: (or trade for) : well sorted 930

Anyone have a 930 for sale? Location is not important. I am not looking for a garage queen- I want a driver (albeit a well sorted one).

I am also selling my 996 cab (tip) $28,500 /bo

And my well modded 951 S (price depends on what extra stuff I include)

The reason I mention my 2 cars for sale is because I would be ver interested in trading the 951 towards a 930 or trading up or down on the 996 (depending on the 930). It will be a few weeks before I officially list the cars for sale. . .

So, if you have (or known of) one for sale, please email me. theodorew (at) tmo.blackberry.net

TIA-- and I hope to join you guys soon !!

Brutus-- nice car. A bit extreme for me though (both in modifications and price !). I'm looking for something that looks stock (or fairly stock !)

Thank you, though !!

. . . And call your dad !!

LOL!

I agree with you, if it was stock it would be in my garage, not his. He loves to take things to the extreme, you should have seen the 87 Lamborghini Countcah he had, actually thats where the color of the Porsche came from. It was a shame that he did that to the Porsche, it was almost a pristine example with less than 50kmi when my brother bought it, then sold it to my father and he ruined it, at least to me.

PS, I think he would sell it for about $40k if anyone else see it

Good Luck!

I ran across this '89 930 on the Bay Area Craigslist. No affiliation.

well.........I know I am going to open the flood gate BUT I have about 6........and no they are not stolen.....long story........but it all depends on how much you want to spend and what shape you are looking for, some have been sitting in a garage for over a year, the are in North Florida, Destin area, if you dont know where that is, its close to Pensacola,

Now that yopu've open that can of worms, tell us how you ended up with six? Enquiring minds want to know...

The Destin area is BEAUTIFUL. My parents had a place at SanDestin for years and I all but lived there on those white sugar beaches. My bro has a place in WaterColor east of Destin.

Back on topic..

OMG! Six . . . . . SIX! Sheesh, I can't even afford one. Guess I'm going to have to go rob a bank . . . a BIG bank so I can put one in my garage. How did you end up with six 930's?

Default The 1989 on CraigList

Looks to be worthy of investigating....... I looked at a similar car with less miles and full documented rebuild; engine , clutch, suspension et.al. The car sold for somewhere between $35,000 and $36,000....the seller having lost his job was motivated to sell..... and he had a loan eating him alive

Ted
I do not want to compete with your tread but I am also looking for one. It must be a 1978 and If you find one that you do not want feel free to pass the information on to me.

Sooner or later the boost comes calling. It always does.

Ted, I wouldnt sell the 951S if its a good car. Good ones are hard to find and they are much easier to tolerate on a consistent basis. I almost sold my 951 and didnt. Best decision I ever made -- I love the car even MORE since the 930 acquisition. You really appreciate how straightforward and easy it is to drive fast compared to the aircooled brethren.

My 930's for sale...

For all the money in the world....hahahaha.

I'll NEVER sell this car. I trade my daily drivers about once a year. but the 930 stays. if you were looking for a 99 bmw M3 vert, i have one for sale. its the same color as my 930 if that counts for anything lol.
