yeah, mods can get crazy on these already crazy fast cars!

So, anyone have an idea how much to replace the rear quarter panel and paint to match?

Dude, you are buying damaged goods.

Proceed with caution.

I would rather have a different model 930 at that price than a rear-ended car.

As for maintenance costs, if you use the car alot, its much more expensive to maintain a turbo over NA. The parts cost more for starters. I always found when I contacted a tech, they'd say " to do that on a 911 is £500, oh, its a turbo, that'll be £1000" !!!

Yikes! That's what I've heard from my mech. I'm thinking maybe this will be more an investment car than a forever car. But then again, cars are rarely investments, more like money pits.

Hmm, I need to really think this one through. Maybe I just better stick with a NA Carrera.

Cars are not investments especially in the current economic times. There is downward movement on ALL car prices regardless of model and desirability. I would think with the number of 930s made price will drop on these as they have been on much, much more desirable cars. Great cars, fun to drive but don't buy it thinking you'll be able to sell it in two years for what you bought it for now or even more. It isn't going to happen. Buy what you love for that reason alone and drive it.
