Darn, I used to think my clean basically stock 86 was worth around 28-30k, even though I have no plans to ever sell it. But if this car is 29k, mine wouldn't get 25. Has the market softened that much? Maybe you should ask (elsewhere) for 35k, just to establish in folks minds that this is a well-sorted out package.
Sorry you have to let such a nice car go.

If you guys see a Guards Red 914/6 with a 3.2 flying around Louisville, that's my buddy Dion who moved there a year ago from Cleveland.

Guys I know this car really well, it is well sorted I have driven it on a few occasions and it breaks the tires loose very easily the turbo is well matched with the other mods. As I recall the car only had a very small leak not very noticeable and the paint is near flawless, but some big reds on this puppy and you are good to go. FYI the guy Al bought this car from is the only person in Michigan I will let near my car with a wrench.

Thanks Schnele,
Kern must have fixed the slight oil leak you mentioned before I bough it. There were no leaks when I purchased it or at this time. The car really is a very nice example.
I agree with you, Kern was the only person who serviced my Porsches while I lived in Michigan.
Thanks again,
AL
