Nice color!

Is that the original factory color?

Is that a 3 staged metallic type paint?

Default Yes....

Ruby Red Metallic - or in origional German -Rubinrot.

It is base, clear......I was never looking for the colour, just a really solid 930, and after looking at some pretty bad cars, I found this one and although it was not the colour I had origionally wanted - I fell in love with it.....

Mark, post the price converted into US dollars as well. It saves people from having to do the math, and I think once they see that price, they will realize how much of a deal it is. Just my $0.02.

Default Thanks!

Good idea - I added the price in USD based on last Friday's exchange rate.
Note -I will use exchange rate at time of sale if the car should be purchased in the US.
Also - car was origionally from San Jose, so getting it back to the US should be easy enough.

Thanks,

Mark

when I imported my car they told me that if the po bought the car and re imported it to us there would be no duty but if another american did then duty would be applicable, not sure what rate though.
perhaps you should contact the po and see if he is interested.
IMHO you should just keep it, or if you must then wait 2 months and then sell it.
good luck.

Thanks,

Since it's over 25 years old, I don't think anyone would have to pay duty on it - that's a huge advantage to a US buyer, especially at this exchange rate!!!

They probably have to pay taxes based on the market value of the car regardless of age (like we do when we import).

Yeah, maybe, good point, but the taxes are usually low depending on what state it's being imported to. Since the buyer can avoid the duty, all of a sudden, it's a bargain.

Also, what's market value on a 26 year old car - same as asking how long a piece of string is...

Or how big is a house. It whatever a buyer is willing to pay for it and a seller is willing to let it go for. Be patient. I think buyers will come knocking in about 1 to 2 months as the weather gets nice.
