Tom here from Houston.

Great find! I have been looking for a Euro 930 for months.

That looks like a car I would trust to Eric at Eurocar-Werk. I have been taking my cars to Eric for over

15 years.

That way I could come by and get a good look at it!!!!

Congrats! Tom

Hey TT sorry haven't snagged a pic of the garage for you just yet, have been down for the count for a couple of weeks with the flu but haven't forgotten about ya. Will get one next time I'm in the neighborhood. I lived right around the block for a long time and know the garage well. Small world.

No worries.
Got the car today, spent my time cleaning and taking stock of what works and what is needed. The first order was a set of hood and deck lid shocks. Lots more to do...a quick pic

Only if it's from a metric country. UK cars have MPH speedos in them.

Part of the US conversion was a MPH speedo.
Drove the car over the weekend and it pulled a consistent 1 Bar on the boost gauge. Strange, I guess someone upgraded the boost spring along the way.

Nice find.

So how can you verify it? Are there any photos of other cars that can be used to illustrate the differences between the regular & SW motor?

Here are pics of a 330 SW motor, note the bigger IC and notched airbox.
My car is coming along nicely, I should have an update soon.

Cool car, and a good deal at $20K.

Those are aftermarket boxed rockers, they do not have the slot to insert the jack plate and their shape is wrong too. I'd ditch 'em for some stock non-boxed ones when you get around to the paintwork.

Pre-1987 special wishes boxed rockers do not have the jack plugs, only post '87.

^Not quite. The early prototype from '81 and apparently a few of the "hammerhead" slantnose cars trickled out with no jack-hole on the rocker.

Here's an '81 with the hammerhead shark front-end with the jack-hole from the factory:

Here's an all-original 2500-mile '86 with the jack-hole:

CAR Magazine, January 1986:

A red '82 with hammerhead front-end, no hole!

...and a white one...

I still don't think Gasman's are factory though, their shape is a little odd...especially in that last photo in the first post.

Lots of info here on the factory slantnose and special wishes options:
