Few questions that might have perfectly good answers:
Did the 1985 Euros have the third tail light pod? Only 1987 USA cars had it.
Where are the Euro side markers.

No the euros didn't have a third taillight and, you beat me to the question regarding the side marker lights.

The Guards Red/champagne interior 1985 930 Turbo in the photo was not brought into the US until 1989, the third eye brake light was added then. Since then the front air damn has been replaced boxed rockers added and the entire vehicle repainted. All this and a fresh engine 10,000 mile ago. My wife is looking for an investment, I am looking for something to have fun with. I think this might be winner. The owner is out of the country but when they return I intend on asking about the side markers.

So are we saying both front quarter panels were replaced? I dont think those panels would need replacing given the front dam and side skirts. They are identical panels USA vs. ROW with the exception of the side marker lights.
So my question is why were they replaced at all. Were the side markers just removed and filled in on the repaint, or were the panels replaced entirely? And if the panels were replaced entirely, was it because of damage or something else?
These questions may have perfectly reasonable and credible answers. But i'm not making an offer until Im satisfied with what I hear.
Things like these are what ROW cars often bring to the purchase table. It definitely changes the parameters of the game and requires far more intel. You can hide neglect far easier with the importation excuse than you can with a USA car.
Im not saying this vehicle isnt *****-on. Like Reagan said however, trust but verify. First rule of car buying is listen to everything the owner tells you, but dont believe any of it. Chase down the facts yourself.

Well, it goes back to the first post, " I have an opportunity to buy a 930 at a "very good deal". You will love the car. If it's clean and nice, then it's clean and nice. . . . .
