Default 89 930 with 31K miles

I saw this car in the showroom at Porsche North Scottsdale this morning. Looks super clean. Price is a bit outragous but....

$79K? A bit outrageous, perhaps. I thought the one we saw for $65K was high!

I've got my fingers crossed for them! It would be nice to routinely see prices like this.

Porsche North Scottsdale asks a lot for everything on the lot. I have tried to buy several cars from them but they would never come down to "market". They do sell a lot of cars and are the only dealer for a very large and somehwat wealthy area. (Closest alternative dealers are in Tucson which is a very small dealership, Las Vegas and Palm Springs). They have had a couple of low mileage 993 Turbos over the last year and have asked in the high $80s and turned down a couple of $80K offeres according to sources their.

A friend called and was told they had already accepted an offer on the car from Europe.

Good for them! I hate to see nice cars leaving the U.S., but that just helps the value of the ones that stay behind.

I bought my 89 factory slantnose with 74k miles from them 3 years ago. Price on their website was 69,500. I got it for 37,500. Mind you it was during the recession time. I imagine the price on the Web is inflated somewhat. If anyone is interested in it, ask for Kevin....he was the salesman who sold me my slant and he also sold my Mom an 09 997 TT 5 years ago..great guy!

It is bone stock not a bad price for the gotta have buyer. I would buy a modded one any day without fear and keep the change for unforeseen indulgences. LOL!

By the time these cars have any value, other than pure enjoyment, we will all be taking a dirt nap. I say drive them while you can, maybe you will be lucky and come back as a 930 in a second life.
