Default Coupe vs. Cabriolet

New kid on the block inquiring about your preference, and why, of a coupe, cabriolet or Targa as your favorite ride! Coupes seem to rule.....

(rickashay: Change of direction due to contact with a stationary object!)

Thanks!

Rick

Coupe. I prefer the privacy over open car. I'm going to let someone else make the comment that convertables are for females.

I have both ('79 coupe and '89 cab). I always without a doubt like a coupe better.

For me, coupe all the way. The lines on the coupe are much better than a cab.

My thoughts: Convertable cars for for tooling along on a crisp autumn Sunday afternoon through winding turns and falling leaves, hitting all the local wineries for their annual grape stomping. Just cruising in style, nothing over 50mph so as not to muss your hair or mess with the ambiance of the moment.
Try going 100mph+ in a coupe-less car and the enjoyment factor goes to zero in a hurry. So very distracting.

Having one of each. I prefer the looks of a coupe, but there are times when a Cab is wonderful. If you need to go 100 in a cab - put the top up!

Dunno it's a personal preference I suppose. I can assure you that I have had my '89 cab well past 100 many times with the top down, ....let me say the enjoyment factor is very much there IMHO and the car handles perfectly.

Looks like i will be the only one then.
TARGA, on a gorgeous day with the roof out nothing beats its. But as previous poster mentioned it , noisy. But i am a sports bike rider (ZX10R) so not an issue.
I love the lines of a Targa with the roof out.

What ever you buy in a 930 you will enjoy.
