Is it just me, or does anyone else think the price for that car was completely ridiculous?

It depends on if you're the seller or the buyer!

Bitter much?

If it makes you feel any better, I sold a one owner, original paint, black 1967 911S with all docs, 35,000 miles, even pictures of the family picking the car up at the factory and driving it around Europe, for $60,000 back in 2007. That was all the money back then...worth triple + now.

Why would I be bitter??!! The only way I'd be bitter is if I had bought that roach! I just think it's a joke the way the people hear about the turbo craze and will buy anything at any price...conventional wisdom is not a part of this equation......I'd have felt guilty letting someone pay that kind of money for a car in that condition
