Not necessarily. The Ice cream truck could be very appropriate if it gets to be pretty hot out...and it would probably even be water-cooled.

thats fine.. if its raining ill bring up my new daily driver. hint.. its an 85, and its water cooled, and its german it has sport seats too only down fall is its an automatic

but it is fun

xsboost... Can you give a rough estimate on how much you spent doing this restoration?? I'm starting to consider doing one, but would like to know roughly how much yours cost before I get in too deep...

4k for the car and about 3.5k on parts not including my body/paint work.

thanks a lot... that's actually a lot less than what I thought you were going to say.. Definately sounds like an affordable project.

ok so after much deliberation the old owner and i traded back, the 914 for the 944, this is in my garage now. Aaron, take care of another one of my babies. See ya at the autox.

Yeah Dan...As much as I had wanted to see the 914, the 944 looked great at the fest. I look forward to seeing what else you do to it.

Holy cow that was fast. I thought you had 911 fever at Taj?

That 914 came a long way. I remember it before the paint. Wow you did a great job on it. That swaperoo though looks like a nice car too. With your skills you can hack them up and do just about anything you want so Im sure youll find new projects for this one.

It should be a nice car, it was the car he traded away for the 914 a year ago.

I got my 'teener back better than ever, and Dan got his first love back. Worked out for both of us.
