Transmission Identification help please
A friend of mine has a transmission with the #'s 914.301.302.00, he is looking to sell it but I thought we should figure out exactly what it is first.
I have searched with these numbers in several places and have not come up with anything. I thought you guys over here might be able to help. Tia.

914 301 xx xx is for a 914 tranny case, but the rest of the numerals don't jibe; gotta look for some other stamped numbers.
Is it side-shift or tail-shift? That might help narrow it down.

Side shift, thanks for the reply. A guy came by yesterday and gave my friend five hundred bucks for it. He's happy so I guess thats all that matters. Thanks again.
