Question EFI System Replacement Ideas

Anybody have ideas on replacing my djet? rebuilding the 2.0 to a slightly bigger size to get @150-170hp.
Already looked at megasquirt, CB and Autronic. Any other ideas out there?
Thanks

There's Redline Weber (bring $$$), 914 CIS (bring BSME, toolbox, & $), Emerald M3D (don't know ANYONE using it), and SDS EM-4 (ditto).

Should be enough sites to keep your head spinnin' for a while ...

Thanks Rouser,
I'm going to spend some time looking into some of those you listed that I have not yet seen. All comments are welcome.

In Gig Harbor, DaveHunt is running a 2270cc with Djet intake parts but with MS. Seems to be working fine! He is in the 150+hp range

The MegaSquirt seems to be pretty popular. How about something like Electromotive?

If Dave is around maybe he could explain more about his EFI system. It uses a crank fired ignition from a 90's Ford as I recall, and I think O2 sensor control as well. I watched as he went through some of the tuning with a laptop and it was impressive...

I installed a Megasquirt ECU on my 1983-911SC with TWM throttle bodies and it's a good, cost effective setup. I wouldn't hesitate to use this on a 914 but would also consider SDS. I am thinking about the addition of a 914 to my garage and EFI would be on the "to do" list with a wideband O2. If you shop around the prices aren't too bad. The Megasquirt can be purchased in kit form and you solder it up or there are many quality builders out there that provide a turn key unit, just add software, injectors,TPS and air +engine temp sensors and you're ready to turn the key!

Hi Geoff,
Actually I wanted something fairly simple as I don't get in there and make a lot of adjustment. The CB has the **** to adjust between leaner and richer on the fly but I probably won't use that much.

Post when you try the MS, I've heard good things about that system too.

That is the problem I have heard with the CB setup as you can ever get it adjusted right for the whole powerband.
They seem to go on sale from guys who have them in a few months out of frustration...... I have only seen one in person thou.
Djet is the simplest setup but it would take some work screwing with the MPS with a A/F O2 meter to adjust it right.

Running a 944NA DME/Wiring Harness is fairly simple.. I'm installing it on my 914 2.1L and 2.5L Supercharged. Once I get the engine on the engine dyno, I'll post few pictures.
