Exclamation

With Progressive Ins., $1,200/year, $4,500 declared value, $500 deductible, multi-car discount, clean driving record. I'm checking around (again) come renewal time.

Insurance ain't cheap in FL.

You must be a young. Pay less than that with three cars. All have full coverage. This includes my 911.

You might try Allstate. They have a program that allows you to insure a collector car and drive it daily, for not much more than a regular car.

I live in in FLA too. Rates here in FLA are really high compared with other parts of the country. Must be all the old farts plowing into store fronts, etc. I'm over 40, perfect record and my rates are still high.

Yep, I'm a 40-sumthin'/Middle-Age-Crazy, and FL car insurance is re-DICK-you-luss! "Historic" means you better be trailering that sucker around!

FL still allows 80-plus-year-olds (strong AARP influence) to drive with poor vision/coordination/health, and immigrants/transients/scofflaws all-to-often drive without insurance OR with suspended/revoked/NO licenses, driving up rates at an almost yearly pace.

I have a '76 2.0, for which I pay a little over four hundred dollars a year in insurance - full coverage, including collision & all that good stuff.

My son 17yrs old is a rider on my policy. His share is 1,200 per year Collision and liability.
74 914 stated value don't matter it won't get replaced.
I pay less for my 928, Explorer and go to work car combined. Cost alot to be cool. He pays his share or the car is parked till he does.
