Default New to Me 1975 1.8

Hi all,
Would just like to show off my new car a 1975 1.8, can't get any slower but I have another car for that. Anyway, found it at a small local dealer, the owner died and his wife put it on consignment. Car is pretty rust free, zero underneath, had it on lift today at dealer, only rust is at the four corners of the stupid front trunk gasket gutter. Runs fantastic and they are putting new brake calipers on front, they stuck on test drive...

Edit; car was originally Laguna Blue, Probably will put it back to that.

The worst spot of rust:

SS HEs

What is that crap they sprayed on the underside?

So, that's it for now will get better pics when it home and cleaned up this weekend.

Welcome to the group! I love the plaid seats too! (Also being a VW guy, I love the plaid seats in the GTI)

If you're going to paint it, may I suggest backdating the bumpers...

Very cool! Of course it can get slower, it could be a 1.7 like mine!

Where in Florida are you? My folks live in Estero (Ft. Myers) and I am down there from time to time, maybe a 914 gathering is in order.

I live in Bradenton near Anna Maria Island. Yes we should have a get together.
