I've known of this car for years and from a production perspective, it is very rare. The late introduction chesnut brown interior makes it 1 of just 6 coupes produced with it, 3 white, 1 black, 1 aventurine green, and just 1 guards red. But really what tops it off is the fact that this interior is the FULL leather version costing $4,532 back in 1994. Only 20 of the 2,234 North American 968 coupes had full leather interior. I hope this car ends up in the hands of an enthusiast who appreciates what it is.

Jeff - Thanks for the great info! Do you have a link to the exterior combination numbers?

Can you provide any additional details about the PSS9 Bilstein coilovers it is equipped with? I didn't know the PSS9 was available for the 968 chassis.

The interior color Bill lists in his add is not listed in the link you posted. Could his color be Matador or Flamenco?

What does "full leather" get you besides leather seats?

Check out that link in the post above for all the details but short answer:

Full leather front bucket seats, front of seat/rear of seat
Full leather rear seats (coupe only)
Lower dash/glove box door wrapped and stitched in leather
Console wrapped and stitched in leather
Console door wrapped in leather
Door panels in leather
Door panel pulls wrapped and stitched in leather
Full E-brake handle wrapped and stitched in leather

The leather wrapped steering wheel and shifter was standard in the 968.

Full leather was almost $5k when the car was new. Only 30 cabs and 20 coupes had it (out of 4,242).

Wow! That sounds really nice! I was wondering if you could answer a question about leather seats... Does Porsche put vinyl seats in any of their cars? I have read the backs can be vinyl, and I know some have cloth seats. The reason I got curious is reading the threads about people who do seat recovering, and they have the option of vinyl or leather. Where could I find out this information?

Chalt,
Check out my site for lots of good interior information. I can only speak for the 968s (and a little for the 944s). Porsche didn't use vinyl but they used a similar material called leatherette. Now, the standard seat on a 968 had a cloth insert with leatherette bolsters and the entire back covered in leatherette. I am not familiar with an entire seat of leatherette and I don't think they made that. the base seat that I know of is always a mix of cloth and leatherette. Porsche came out with the "very reasonably priced" partial leather option ($692) which got you leather on the faces of the buckets and leatherette on the backs and sides. It is by far the most popular.

Thanks Jeff, this is what I was wondering. I looked at the site - it explains a lot. - Chris

It also looks like full power for both seats as well.

Thank you for the info. I really appreciate it. There is an option code listed that I cannot find anywhere. It is 850. Any idea? See pic

I sure do. Those dot matrix printers used back in the day were terrible. That is actual a 650, which is the power sunroof, standard on the 968 coupe. They all have that code except the 6 sunroof delete 968s.
