I think the colest tires were the ones that the had a long time agian, that had little spikes for the winter... They soonoutlawed these because they were ruining the roads, but i always thought it would be cool to have spiked tires.

Still use them for races on frozen lakes. A real blast. Both cars and motorcycles. Don't get in the way!

Yea, I am sure I have drove like that once on my go-kart.. But what can you expect when you blow one tire and the other rim rips off the kart?

First, Amerityre's "air, no-air" tire system, christened ARCUS(TM), permits the car tire to operate with or without air;

Second, the tires are made using Amerityre's proprietary urethane chemistry; and

Third, the tires are made using Amerityre's patented and proprietary manufacturing techniques that, once robotisized, will allow manufacturing costs below that of rubber tire manufacturing cost as a result of lower material, labor and capital equipment costs.

Yeah, studded tires are great for snow and ice. But as noted, most places in the US banned them years ago due to tearing up the pavement but I think they are still legal in a couple places. They make a hell of a racket on dry pavement, though, so I think it would be pretty tough to run them in illegal areas and not get caught.

Use narrow tires and chains though you will probably need a new amplifier to hear the radio.
