Default Bet my ****** bigger than yours

what is it with all this `how fast can your car go' and `What's your top speed?' etc etc???...

Has the average mental age of subscribers to this forum suddenly plummeted to 15 years ? or have I suddenly grown old and wise?

If you want to go ridiculous speeds I suggest you try jumping out of an aeroplane with a parachute. That way at least you only put your own life at risk, not every other highway user's
Little wonder that I read a member has shredded 3x tranny pinnions is it !

While I did not participate in any of those discussions, it did not seem that anyone was trying to feel better about themeselves just because of a top speed. You just feel left out, and that does not make you wiser than any of us. Plus, if you never read the polls, about 25 percent of the people here are under 21.

By the way, if you own a Porsche you can not tell me you do not enjoy speed.

I like the corners better anyway...

By the way I would feel really bad if my chute didn't open and I landed on a party of schoolchildren
But I would try to make sure I landed on a Lawyer or Dentist or Bank manager or someone like that to even things up a bit in the world

ps Oh by the way badass I'm a corner man too... I bottle out on the straight bits these days

Last summer while my wife's family was out visiting with us, they rented a minivan - Chrysler T&C - so there I am with my Ford Windstar sitting side-by-side with Brother-in-law at the helm of the other draggin' wagon. We're revving, getting a little movement against the fully-applied brakes waiting for green. Gave the look, then the thumbs-up - when the tree dropped I pulled him off the line but he crept level with me in the first 50 feet. Then, he's totally lost behind me. Turns out he was trying to manual shift the auto from 1 to 2 and lost it in neutral. Totally owned his ***. Man, those younger racing days were wild and crazy... lucky I survived to talk about it.

Minivan racing - the next big thing...

Going fast in a straight line is for kids. Anyone can do it..until something unexpected happens.

I'm with you Peanut. As the price of these cars keeps dropping, so does the average age of new owners. It shows.

I think you hit the nail on the head there Peckster my man.

Who can resist a previously $60.000 supercar for a mere 1000 bucks or so!
I just want to know how they get insured at that tender age?????

What's the extra second for?

Pretty much garunteed to send this to the abyss.

Not sure I want to show it to anyone, other than the new Redhead across the street, or the other one at the shipping place.
