Nah mate...these are gone. The leather actually snaps off. It's more like beef jerky than leather.

Congratulations on saving this cab. Only around 6,000 cars were made worldwide, so they're still relatively rare.

In case you haven't already done this, when fitting wheels larger than 16" it's important to update the caster blocks to the 968 M030 or similar, which are stronger or the larger wheels will soon rip out the bushings in the stock caster blocks ruining your front alignment.

I put 17" Cup 1s on mine, and sure enough, they ripped the bushings. Keep up the good work!

Indeed I will. Sadly ruined my right shoulder at work and will be out of action for 2 years so the Dr's say. I've got another Porsche project as well, a 79 928 manual. As much as I love this car I really want someone to drive it. You hardly ever see the early water coolers on the road anymore. Whenever I drive it I get people giving me the thumbs up and taking pics and vids etc.
I have another vert as well. An E93 335i. It's got a healthy N54 in it pushing out just on 385Hp at the wheels. Plenty quick enough for me.
