Default 2019 944Fest - Nelson Ledges Aug. 2-3

In case you live under a rock* (i.e. don't Facebook) you might not have heard that 944Fest will return to its rightful home at Nelson Ledges.

Make plans now....

* Had to find out from my wife about the FB posting - since I do live under a rock...

What a fun event. While I don't own a "car" any longer, I still think about the Fest that I have attended. The first at Dan's house in Mansfield and others at Nelson. Also thanks to Scott for a "ride-a-long a few years back when that was permitted. Make plans and GO !!

Moi? That must have been a few years back.

Fred - brings up a good point. You don't have to have a 944 (or even a car) to attend. We (Dr. Goodwench, and I) will be breaking our streak this year. You'll have to be there to see.

Great time and a Great event for these cars, Im going to try and bring a few people this year, Esp my one friend who will no longer track his 944S because he is intimidated by the late model cars on track at WGI (home track) that go blowing past him. pretty much everyone is on equal footing making it a ton of fun... Don't have to worry about too many GT3's coming up on you... Looking forward to seeing the BB 07K Swapped car!...………… Im going to order tires now...

Love the map of where everybody is coming from! We need to have Tags or something on our cars of the area we are from.. because I see a "Dot" of a fellow 44 Very near me but have no Idea who he is... That's what this fest is all about. People, the cars we love and Fun... Oh yea .. Beer too...

That's nice.

And by 'rock' - you must be referring to FacePlant. Couldn't locate it at the website. I'm just an analog man..

My wife and I are looking forward to going this year (never been). All the car needs is a TB/BB re-tension which is planned over the next few days. We also will be needing hotel accommodations so that's a project for this weekend. Looks good so far...
