Default New production Fuchs wheels

Ok, I'm not entirely sure if the 911 Fuchs have the same offset as the 944 Fuchs or not (I don't think so) , but I figure this might be something everyone wants to be aware of.
I just ordered a replacement 16x7 for my 911, one of which I broke back in 2009 and never found a suitable flawless replacement for.
For a stellar cost of only $650 for an authentic NEW Fuchs forged wheel, I'd say it's the deal of the century. At that price, I may just move my 911 to 7s and 8s.

Offsets are good for 944, if they did them in the original design that would be great, unfortunately that new design doesn’t look right on the older cars, imo too modern.

I absolutely love the fuchs and will be getting a set to put on my 86 951 when I get her painted (soon). My favorites are the ones with the polished lips and the painted black spokes, like the one in first post.

The 16s are identical to the original Fuchs wheels.

That's how it's a good deal. Not to mention that they'd be brand new, warrantied for sure, straight, and unblemished.

Interesting, I assumed they were all the new look. That’s a great price thanks for sharing.

The offsets for the 7s are the same, 23mm, but the 911 Fuchs don't clear the 951 calipers.

For the rear the 8s slightly differend, 23mm again for the 951 and 11mm for the 911. But those 911 8s will certainly fit in back (as will the 9s)

Damn that's a great price for those 16x9's. I payed more than that years ago for a used pair, which have skyrocketed in price since.

I've got 951 16x8's on the front and 930 16x9's on the rear - love the look of that combination.

Thanks for sharing!

just because some 'tards think they can charge $3k for some wheels doesn't make $2600 for other wheels a good deal.

The model-car image is........ lame.

Last I read, Fuchsfelge had intended on revising the design of the 16x9 in order to make some material and structural improvements. I don't know if these incorporate this design or not.

Fuchsfelge usually runs batches about every 6 years of the original wheels (in the more common sizes: sorry, no 15x11s). So if they are the original wheel this isn't anything out of the ordinary.

Tooling and production cost for die-forged wheels is among the highest in the production wheel industry. Plus they are brand new, without 40 years of fatigue. That price is honestly pretty amazing. Fuchsfelge is one of I think only four companies that still produce die-forged wheels in appreciable numbers.
