I'd say resume production - I'd be happy to receive a set.

As long as you aren't assembling them in the Wuhan Virology Institute Lab – I'm in.

Edit: You know I'm joking! Seriously though, we receive packages at my work all the time. We go to the store, we go to the bank, the pharmacy. We aren't scared – we use common sense and caution, washing our hands etc. Lif IS going to resume and no one can stay locked down forever. I'm not worried – please resume production!

I'm in. I'll just assume you didn't cough directly on it before packaging it up!

Are you back in production? I am about #26 down on the list, it appears.

Curious about approx how many units you are able to ship each month?

Hi Everyone. I had a couple messages about the project. In short; yes, I'm still making them. If something changes, I'll be sure to post. Page 4 has the order list and I've been updating that on a regular basis.

As I've said a few times; this is a hobby and not a need. I run a very active auto repair shop in Kansas City, have a young family, and have a 951 in the middle of it's 2nd pseudo restoration. Since each set takes about 2 hours to complete, a few get made a week, at most. Some weeks I don't have the time or energy to make any at all. The number of people who want them this time around was a bit more than I had thought would sign up, but I'm cool with that as long as you are. I know there are many pages in this thread to read, but there is a ton of info that discusses how these came about in 2002, the previous production runs and tweaks to the design I've made over the years, and who I am in the Rennlist community.

Being able to do these on my schedule is the main reason why I don't take payment until your specific set is in the mold or ready to ship. Everyone is welcome to their set in the order on the main list (page 4 of this thread), or back out if you don't want to wait or feel it's not for you. I won't take offense if you cancel.

I appreciate everyone's trust in me that you'll get your set; and more so, your patience.

I’m fine waiting. I appreciate your effort and understand multiple time commitments. Can’t remember the last time I drove my car in the dark anyway, unless you count me sitting in it in my garage!

Thanks Rob! I have you on the list.
Just a reminder for everyone who is waiting - make sure your email address with Rennlist is current so you get the PM notification when I send it, just in case you don't log in all that often. I don't mind the delays, but I also don't want sets laying around waiting to ship. I appreciate it!

I hope everyone is well. I've fielded several private messages as of late asking status of this project. I'm still cracking away at the order list with a few sets per month. Now that winter is closing in, I know a number of you are starting your projects and I intend to get the remainder of the orders complete before spring.

As a reminder, please be sure your email address is correct in your Rennlist profile so you'll get the PM notice when your set is ready. I'd also bookmark this thread so you can reference the install guide and Tom's video.

I've had good feedback thus far from the sets in the field and I appreciate all of your patience and interest.

Have a joyful Thanksgiving, a Merry Christmas, and safe and Healthy 2021!
