I run VR-1 20w50. It contains adequate ZDDP levels, and around wher I love it is cheaper than most other options.

The VR-1 series contain very little in the way of detergents though, so you have to make sure you change it often.

Mobile 1 15-50 is 1300ppm, i'd make sure the formulation is the same there but i'd imagine thats a fairly easy oil to come by. I use it as my summer oil and its been great.

Very interesting. I always assumed all the Mobil 1's had the same additives package, but evidently not: https://www.mobil.com/lubricants/-/m...94A7396657AC09.

Nah they change it up, I run 0-40 in the winter so i have flow when its cold, its 1100ppm. Still good!
