Default remove HVAV on 968

I originally raced PCA E class, so took limited stuff off car before I had cage put in. Now am changing to SP3 so need to lose weight.
Have removed heater/AC blower motor and heater core. Part of passenger side dash lower glove box gone. Have released bolts where heater/AC lines go thru firewall. Have removed ducting to HVAC box on passenger side. Have removed the bolt holding the HVAC unit to the upper dash on passenger side and the L shaped bracket in the engine compartment holding the HVAC unit,
Now I need to remove the upper nut on the bolt on the driver side,
Can I do this without taking the gauge cluster out? If I take the gauge cluster out will I be able to reach this nut/bolt?
Anything else I will need to remove or disconnect?
thanks
Dave

on R passenger side I removed nut from upper bolt on frame. How do I get to the nut/bolt on the L drivers side?

Presumably you mean this one:

If so the removing the cluster trim piece should be enough (although the part of the dash the instrument cluster and trim piece screw into might be in the way).

Its not bad actually, everything has a memory of where it ties into the dash. Taking the dash out was a lot easier than i expected, even with a dual airbag dash.
