good vacuum line diagram?
Anyone got a link to one? This would be (again) for the 86 engine into an 89 chassis project. We did an OK job of labelling the vacuum lines but I still feel we bodgered up one or two. I also am not sure if the little blue and black vacuum filter or valve at the top backside of the engine compartment is pointing the right way, and is in the right place. The vacuum line diagram on the underside of the hood appears incomplete. TIA SG

There's been a number of threads where the vac diagrams have been posted, so if you do a search, you should have no problem finding them.

(Sigh)...Of course, I tried to find one in the archives. There is a 951 diagram posted in several threads, but no NA diagram. (And even if there were, past a certain point in time, the data is lost anyway in these old threads.)
I am mainly concerned about the vacuum lines at the firewall. As it stands I have one extra vacuum line connector open with nothing to match up to it! The car runs fine but I want to get this right. Yes, you can't over-label things when doing an engine swap...TIA SG

oops... I'm sorry, I didn't look to see that you were talking about an S2. I will see if I can find something for you.

This is actually for a friend's race car project, which is an 89 chassis with an 86 NA engine.
Right now we are confused as to where the vacuum line from the black side of the blue/black check valve at the top of the firewall area goes to (assuming the rest of it is right, which may be a bold assumption).
Problem is this accessory-related part of the vacuum system isn't well-diagrammed anywhere I'm looking so far. Of course, not knowing this, we did a better job labelling the fuel system lines, which are well-diagrammed all over the place...

I just took a look at my 87na. There is a small blue and black check valve coming off of the brake booster. The black is going to the booster. the blue side goes to a T fitting behind the engine. one side of the T goes to a filter or canister beside the battery. The other side goes through the firewall at the heater hoses. I think that is for the climate control.

Does anyone know the purpose of Shutoff and Control Valves H and J in the diagram above? How about the "Ejection Pump" C?
Edit: I see the control valves are for the evaporative emissions system, I still have no idea what the Ejection Pump is for, though...
