Default I'm back

11 years after selling my first Porsche (1989 NA), this 1987 944S dropped into my lap. Needs some reassembly after the PO wrapped it, and a few oil leaks fixed. I'll probably do a ground control coilover conversion up front and lower it in the back a bit by indexing the t-bars.

Subtle! You shouldn't get any tickets with that one
Have fun with the new ride.

everyone in jacksonville is going at least 80mph all the time; I doubt a naturally aspirated 944 can go fast enough to get pulled over

Looks pretty cool, and a rare 944S. Do you know what the factory color is?

I’m thinking red or white, but just a crazy hunch...

My guess is red. It is much more work to paint the parts of the car in red than the parts in white.

Correct it is factory guards red. But everything on the outside of the car is wrapped. I bought the car just after the wrap was installed so I never saw the paint underneath, but the report I got was that it was in need of a full respray, but they went with the wrap for fun instead.

Very sweet car.
Back in 1990 i bought an '87S just past broken in.
It had an experimental 200hp engine (don't tell anyone).
Welcome back.
