Question Who is running aluminum torque tubes?

I'm wondering what folks' experience has been with the aluminum torque tubes so far? How many miles do you have on them, had any issues, notice any benefits, or any drawbacks?

Thanks,

Bryan

I'm about to install one of Dave's aluminum torque tubes in my 91 S2. I've been in conversation with him the whole time he has been developing and then marketing the item, you can rest assured it is over-engineered. There are a few out there in use and I have not heard of any problems. I will post how my experience with it goes after I put some miles on it.

As soon as I have the available funds, thats a "must have" item for me as well. I met Dave here in KC not long ago, heck of a nice guy and he has the background to know what he is doing.

Regards,

Who is selling these? Contact info, website, pictures, anything?

Sounds good. I'm all for spending $ on sh*t that works.

I've been fabricating these on a semi custom basis. PM me with an email address and I'll send you some pix.

Hmm.
I am looking to swap a VW TDI into my car, and may require a custom torque tube. Or at least a custom end on a normal(ish) torque tube.
Could you give us all some info on them, and, are you able to make a custom flange on the engine end?
