Tom, if your interested i live literally about 2 minutes away from Trenton, i can take a look at it if you are considering purchasing.

The hood looks really low...either that the headlight bucket covers are sticking to far up. Paint looks dull for the right side in the first few pictures though thats probably just the pictures.

Hey Tom,

Hard to tell in the picture but something does not look right.
Just the fact it's a dealer in Trenton would make me run!

Why can't someone who wants to sell a car spend $20 on a lousy shift boot?
The car doesn't look bad, Tom. It may just be the light that makes it look that way. It could use some new wheels and tires. I like the lack of bodyside molding. I do hate the rear reflector thing (Sorry guys, my own personal opinion). You can see that it has an updated water pump.
Did you notice in the work invoice that it had a timing belt gear installed backwards? That's a little scary.
I'd try to stay under $3500 if the PPI is clean.

Even without the side moulding, it should have a destinct edge, especially through the center of the door.

No Pete, what's scary is that there's not a new timing belt in the parts list!
Right headlight isn't sitting right and the alignment at the rear edge of the passenger door isn't too good, could have been hit but didn't have to be a big hit.

The pass door looks crooked to me. However, black is a hard color to judge w/o looking at it up close and personal.

i dont like the contour of the passenger door. not crisp like the driver in the picture below it.

i was trying to figure out where the shop was, and didnt read the invoices. good catches pete and dave. I think that car led a hard life.

nothing more expensive then a cheap porsche. even at 3.5 i could see that car rapidly approaching 10. a cleaner more expensive car for around 6k would probaly be cheaper in the long run. i'll keep ya posted pete.

Indirect light like that makes any car look awesome. I promise you that under the harsh light of noon on a sunny day, that paint doesn't look that good.

In the "if you're prepping the car to sell it" departement, put the freakin' firewall gasket back on properly.

On the other hand, there clearly hasn't been much done to make the car look better than it really is.

One of the service records was from "classic Imports." Give them a call, they are very reputable from what I have heard about them. I am sure if you are serious about purchasing the car they can tell you what you need to know.
