Exclamation Carpet replacement

So I am sure my 87 924 spent a lot of time in a parking lot, the interior is really burned up. So I have looked some sites to replace the interior. This is my build sheet (I think) but I can not tell what code is for the color.

Is the code on this?
is there another place on the car that gives the code?

Your interior code is XP. It is to the right of the L041 (black) paint code.

Here is a thread on Pelican that discusses "what" that color is ("gray" vs "light gray" vs "linen.")

OK, I tried using XP but really could not find anything, the seats have “Porsche” on the center panels. It looks like the carpet will be a challenge, did find one site that has the molded kit for the 1987 944, are the interiors the same?

This is the way I got it, seat covers are s**t also, the fake MOMO is plastic also!

The codes on Clark's Garage are the dealer order codes (they correspond to the "color chips" you would find in brochures) and are not the same codes as on the options sticker(s).

As far as whether or not carpet for an 87 will fit, I would be most concerned around the center console/tunnel area, potentially the seatbelt mount points, and the hatch.

Here is a video from a Youtuber that did a refresh on a 924 Turbo last year. He used carpets from Coverdale in the UK and documented the install. Might be worth a look.
