Default Photo of rear hatch release microswitch?

My '89 turbo was missing the microswitch that controils the release of the rear hatch in the later cars which was causing all sorts of issues. I've replaced it and things are getting better but for the life of me I cannot figure out how the switch mounts to interact with the key release. Can someone please pull back the carpet at the rear hatch and snap a quick photo of the switch mounted correctly in their car?

This is the switch in question.

I learn something new here all the time. I did not know they got rid of the mechanical key release in later cars. Here is a picture I found on 944online that looks like the switch is in a plastic or metal housing that mounts to the lock cylinder. Just guessing, but it might help.

Hard to see in the dark. There looks to be a clip attaches to the body with switch blade pivot at bottom right. I can't see how it's attached but this is the position which might get you started

Thanks guys. I ordered the clip. @Corvalliscraig, any chance I could get that first photo of the switch zoomed out a little bit?

Difficult with the angle and I can't illustrate how the clip works but there a white cam on the lock that presses on the leaf.
