Exclamation weird engine noise!

ok,i started up my car and this wierd knocking/metal rubbing noise started to get loud.so i popped open my hood to check where the noise is coming from.well, the noise is coming near the rear of the engine bay,by the intake manifold(back of engine area).i try feeling the FPR and i could feel some knocking there, even on the fuel rail.still not quite sure where exactly the noise is coming from but ive got a clue.could it be a bad fpr/fuel rail?you need to hear it for yourself to know the exact sound, ill try to get a sound clip.thanx in advance.

Hmmmmmmmm, Does it sound like cylinder noise? I have never heard a FPR knock. Did you check all the vaccum lines? Maybee you have a dead cylinder. Pull spark plug leads one by one to see if engine RPM drops. If you pull one that does not effect engine that is the dead cylinder. Just a thought.

There's nothing in the fuel system that knocks. I'd have it towed to a mechanic, don't start it again.

If you do all your own maintenance, Yu need to start troubleshooting. If not Follow peckster's advice and have it towed.
