Default Manual steering racks

I acquired a couple manual steering racks (015 sport) that I want to get rid of. The outer tie rods are tight but both boots on one rack are split. The inners move freely but seem ok. At least one bellows on one rack is split. I also have an intermediate shaft I think. There were two shafts in a car - one longer then the other, need to try and find part number. could possibly have the other shaft, need to look.
My question is what are these worth? Hard to get pricing, one store has refurbished non sport at $742 and another has used sport at $650 with shaft. These seem a bit high considering they are still for sale.

My very broad rule of thumb for used parts is to offer them at 50% of the cost of new ones. But in the case of racks, the condition of the mesh at the pinion gear can be pretty important as to the value.

It appears there are also 924 parts in the collection so might want to verify that the racks are in fact 944 fitment.

Unfortunately there are no new ones, only 924 racks selling for $900ish. I am not looking to sell at a resellers price like the one listed above at $650, but at a good enthusiast price. Last time I got a bunch of parts I sold them at $25 and $50 - want a door, perfect hatch, full power seats that need recovering, ac compressor, fenders etc. With nothing priced over $50 it took months to sell and I still have parts (nobody is paying $25 for a cross-member!) Since parts on these cars do not sell quickly at any price this time around I will probably go somewhere in between enthusiast and reseller price since the time frame will be the same. My research showed 4 racks listed here for $300ish. All four sold in less then 1 hour. None of these were recent though, probably 4+ years old. Seems like the market for them have softened up a lot even though the part prices I see now are astronomical compared to 2 or 3 years ago!

I do have what I believe to be a 924 rack (along with several power 944 racks) in the collection. I did check the part numbers on these to confirm the 944 fitment, that is how I know they are the sport racks and not the normal ones.
After moving the 2 '83 cars with manual racks I was so impressed with how easy they turned I considered putting one in my Cabriolet. If i had not replaced all the lines/hoses and rebuilt the power steering pump in my car I would seriously think about it. In my engine compartment the only thing made of rubber that is not new is the o ring in the AOS and whatever seals are in my power steering rack. My goal was to have a reliable, good running car which meant replacing anything rubber. After I built my car and tested everything I found out the ISV was leaking (o ring) so replaced that. From that I learned that being lazy and cheap by not replacing it initially would come back to bite me in the rear! Now I am just waiting for the rack and AOS to start leaking!
I think I will just throw them on the "bay" and see where they land.

I have the same used "015" sport rack and intermediate shaft for sale on another site but have had no interest...same with 951 fuchs. I think I had the rack listed for around $400. I got it as a backup in case my powered rack started leaking again but will hang onto it for the mean time I guess. Parts prices are all over the place it seems with some things going for what I think is stupid money and some things you can barely give away.

What's the difference between the standard and sport versions?

The "sport" rack has a quicker steering ratio. "Standard" is 4 turns lock to lock and "sport" is 3.5 turns. Note:The quicker the ratio the harder to turn it is. Power racks are 3 turns lock to lock that is why they are so hard to turn un-powered.
