Default Momo Prototipo born electrical contact question

I have a 951 that I installed a Momo Prototipo steering wheel. The mounting bolt has been secured all the way down, however, the electrical copper contact on the back of the steering wheel doesn’t quite make contact to the circular ring on the hub. Does anybody else have this issue and if so, what is the fix?

Just to clarify - Part #2 in the photo below doesn't touch the ring in the back side of the hub, or are you talking about something else?
What part number hub are you using?

Correct. I may have gotten the positions switched. But heat part 2 doesn’t quite make contact. There is a slight gap.

Which hub adapter did you get? There is one for the early cars 8010 and 7004 for later cars.

There should be a three or 4 digit number stamped on the hub, and on the box it came in. It might have a leading "L", like "L8010" or "L7004"

If it says 230 or 231, that's a hub for a 911.
