Default Solenoid Jumper cable replacement

Hello (sharing with a wider audience)

We acquired a project 1989 944 2.7 with a blown head gasket per the previous owner.

We are in the process of getting down to the head gasket and so far we have gotten as far as removing the intake manifold using this excellent video from Jason Forgey AKA
NC944er.

Earlier when we took off the starter we noticed the solenoid jumper is disconnected...

Any suggestions on getting a replacement jumper cable and how to install so this won't disconnect again?

It looks like some solder and copper braided wire would do the trick, but looking for a replacement cable

This is from pelican parts

When I removed my starter during a clutch job, I managed to rip the terminal end of that wire off. I used this terminal block that I bought at Lowes or Home Depot. Connected great but I damaged some wires inside of the solenoid when part of it rotated during removal of the nut. Ended up just replacing the starter.
