This morning I was getting my 944 ready for an upcoming paint job. I decided to remove the sunroof seal and I noticed that the surface issue I had was running deeper than I expected. It looks like the fiberglass is delaminating.

Any suggestions on how I could fix this? Here are some pictures of the issue.

Since you're painting it, honestly, I'd look for a replacement panel.

That’s one option. But I try to fix as much as I can. Looking for advice on how to fix it. But if everyone agrees that I should ditch it. I’ll go that route! Or maybe look for a Saratoga top replacement.

I have a similar issue and plan to try to fix it in my 1984. I’ll let you know how it goes. Mine isn’t delaminated rather the lip is damaged.
