I’ve bought from rose passion many times. No vat added when shipping through DHL. If you use FedEx then they will add duty fees (and in my case loose my shipment). Never had an issue with DHL shipping. I typically pay with PayPal without issue. Been very very satisfied with the costs including shipping. Best buying experience is with multiple items which lowers the overall shipping burden. I’ll typically include special fasteners, washers, trim, etc. in my order.

Even here on the West Coast, Rose Passion gets you your parts SURPRISINGLY quickly. I have not had to pay VAT on any order, from any European supplier.

As to duty, I think that there's a minimum number that triggers it from FedEx. I only have 3 data point but 2 orders under $500 did not require the duty, but one order over $1000 did. YMMV.

These things going (basically) NLA is a real bummer. I know you can still get them from Porsche, but those are the kinds of prices that dealer shops use to let you know they really don't want the work you're asking for (except for parts, in this case).

Cheers

That does look like a great site! I recognize the name from a forum member here on RL. I wonder if they still post here.

If your problem is just cosmetic, like yellowing of the plastic, I’ve had great results doing the “retro-bright” process. Basically, using commercial grade hydrogen peroxide then exposing it to sunlight or UV light source.

Thank you but it's the warping that's the problem.
