My 951 holds 21.1 gallons, or 80 liters.

I had to refill yesterday and put in around 15.7 gallons, the needle was at about 1/8 full so you do the math.

edit: ok couldn't help it...

15.7 is approx. 7/8 of the tank so:
7/8(capacity) = 15.7
(capacity) = (8/7)15.7

which is 17.94 and is quite close to the 17.4g mentioned in the thread posted above...

Referring to the old thread, recently my gas light was blinking on and off, and I put around 13.5 gallons into the tank. Does the gas light come on when you get to the "reserve" 2.7 gallons?

It should! No use in it coming on just to tell you that you're completely out of gas.

Yeah, I usually get about 50-miles or so after the light goes on. My '86 only has 18-gal tank, I want the larger 21-gal tank. Anyone have one for sale?

I was reading a book on watercooled porches and if memory serves the 85 1/2 and better had roughly 20 gallon tanks and pre 85 had around 17 gallons. I know when i was on a little less than a quarter i put in 15 gallons in my 85 1/2.

I put almost 21 gallons in my 85.5 a few times and was pleasantly surprised, my 99 accord and 98 Frontier PU only hold around 12 to 13 gallons.
