Bizarre. Southern california is littered with barely running and non-functional 928s. I wonder why they went to the trouble to swap the car out and dummy it up to look like a 928 from the rear.

"And before the arguments start about what car it is... I have it on good
authority (the people who supplied and prepped the cars) that...
The driving shots were a white 928
The shots of the car entering the pool was a white 944 with the rear end
modified to look like a 928. It was fired with a compressed air cannon over
the hedges and into the pool.
A CGI'd shot of the side of the 928 was used to fill in and make it look
like a 928 was flying.
The car in the pool is of course a white 944 again.
Originally the 944 was the stunt car, stripped out with a fake 928 rear end
and made swimming pool friendly (no engine, box, fuel tank, exhaust etc) ,
used just for the stunt shots (the jump and entering pool).. but when it
came to rest in the pool, it looked so good (not screwed up front end and no
sharp edges) they decided to run with it and not use the 928 which they
gutted to make it swimming pool friendly (no fuel tank, no engine, no
nothing with toxic fluids)
I can think of better ways to spend a million dollars making a video with
Britney Spears and a swimming pool "

So they took all the fluids that could contaminate the pool out of the car before it went into the water.
Was Brittany Spears subject to the same conditions?
I hope there was plenty of chlorine involved to protect the innocent.
It's a stupid glam video with lame music and awful subject matter.
Want your daughter to idolize and emulate this? Not me.......

-I think we all realize this. This is funny. She can crash as many 944's into a swimming pool as she likes. It only raises the value of my 944, and raises the value of people who have homes with swimming pools (less of those too). And we get to watch her make an idiot of herself (sound off pants down). This is just a win win win kind of situation. I would flip **** if my daughter idolized her. lOL
