Im not sure what to do with the 68. I didn't drive it once this summer.

I would like to keep the S2. The guys that saw the S2 know how minimal the damage is. Really not worth fixing.

Andy had the good fortune of driving the Camaro during a heat wave when the vacuum line that controls where the air conditioning goes wasnt working. They put the canister under the battery and after 10 years a pinhole appeared the day I bought the S2.

If I sell the Camaro all is done.

Marc, I will PM you with my work number. I get in at 8:30 - Thanks.

Keep the Firebird! Hold out for the '05 GTO as the horsepower increase will be substantial.

$200 a month is too much to pay for 50hp. 350 v 400.

Matt,
They are giving the GTOs away right now. 280 a month for a GTO, you cant lease a base civic that cheap.

That kind of residual is crazy considering how much trouble they're having moving them. That's .55 of MSRP, or .67 adjusted with the rebate. Most BMWs don't residualize quite that well.

For comparison's sake, the 2004 Lancer Evolution residualizes through MMCA at .36.

Tomr R is def. getting a great deal. I just got a quote back from my Suby dealer I go tmy WRX from. Sticker is about $32,000 so right there with the GTO. 39mth lease no money down at 15K miles/yr is $489/mth before tax. Thats almost exactly $100 more than Im paying now..

I dont think I really want a $500 car payment. Goodbye STI, hello 928S4??????

So let me get this straight - you buy the S2 and put some $$ into it - for a GRAND total of $10,000. And now you're looking to sell it for $12,500? That means an $2500.00 profit for you. Not bad for keeping the car for what, six months?

I am sorry, but $12,500 is near 968 price range. Granted, you have low miles on the car, but why are you trying to turn such a big profit on the car? Especially when you are offering it to fellow 944 enthusiasts?

Makes no sense to me,
-Zoltan.

Z, I am also offering the Z at much less than what I have into it. Somethings gotta go, I would rather the Z go, but if it doesn't I will let the S2 go for a tidy profit, then sell the Z for much less, go out buy an NA etc.

There is no way I would give up the convertible firebird. I guarantee, you'll be looking for another one the day you sell it. Keep the classic, it's not replaceable, all the rest can be swapped in an out.
